Ups avr Print E-mail
UPS (uninterrupted power supply) and AVR
(automated voltage regular) are viewed as common things in order to
help protect your computer mainly from damage when it comes to power
surges and power interruptions from the grid. These are understated,
yet very important components of a system, which serve to protect and
defend against potential damages to your computer through its
regulation of power. A UPS unit will operate as a kind of backup
generator should the mains of electricity go down while you are in the
middle of functioning on the computer system. This is vital to
protecting your work, giving you the opportunity to save and backup
your work, whereas a straight out crash due to lack of power could
cause physical damage to the computer.
There is a difference between UPS and AVR, as the latter will not store
any power in battery cells like the UPS will, it will simply deal with
the incoming current on an immediate basis, regulating the power
straight to the machine. This is a great solution for the running of
personal computers on a grid where the power supply is unstable, as it
will regulate the flow of power to keep it constant. It will not,
however, provide any back up system should the power fail completely.
The prime solution would
